•Hristova 2020: The palynological study of three samples (from the two coal-bearing shale layers and layer 8) reveals the age of the locality as late Santonian to early Campanian age [6].

• Hristova 2020: The palynofacies data indicates deposition within lagoonal to foreshore marine palaeoenvironments.
