• Based on alveolinid age the collection correspond to the Early Ilerdian

Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified, tabular mixed carbonate-siliciclastic sediments and lithified rudstone

• coral rubbles in the shallow subtidal setting influenced by fluvial input of siliciclastic material
• Few meter thick level with coral rubbles associated to foraminifera, mainly alveolinids

Preservation: recrystallized, original aragonite, replaced with calcite

Collection methods: bulk, peel or thin section
