• From the "A/7" zone of Ellenberger (1970). Steyer & Damiani (2005) consider this horizon to be of uncertain Late Triassic or Early Jurassic age, but other authors have assigned this to the Upper Elliot Formation (e.g. Kitching & Raath 1984. Pal afr. 25:111-125; Knoll. 2005. Bull. Soc. geol. Fr. 176:81-91)
