Where: Angola (12.4° S, 13.5° E: paleocoordinates 26.5° S, 2.2° E)
• coordinate based on nearby landmark
• outcrop-level geographic resolution
When: Late/Upper Cretaceous (100.5 - 66.0 Ma)
• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From unknown lithostratigraphic unit. AGE: Vieira stated that the bed was probably Cretaceous, but Miller assigned it very tentatively to Lower Eocene based on faunal similarity (assuming that Aturoidea is early Tertiary). Other latest Cretaceous Aturoidea are known from India and Africa, and later authors have considered this locality to be Upper Cretaceous. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From unknown position in local section.
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: lithified lithology not reported
Size class: macrofossils
Preservation: cast, mold/impression
