Environment/lithology: marine; black, calcareous, cherty/siliceous shale
• "gray med to fine gr. ls int. w/dark gray calc. shales and black calc shales. some chert beds. relatively quiet water, possibly restricted (but not clear) BA4. Environmental setting- Note that the additional fauna of the Liard Mountain probably lived in a somewhat more open higher energy setting (Ls tend to be coarser gr, there is no interbeded black shale)."
