• The Cap des Biches Member consists of a thin calcareous conglomerate with chert and phosphate... and overall consists of marls and micritic limestones alternating with levels of chert and phosphate. Limestone blocks from the quarry exhibit ripple marks and hummocky cross stratification at the base.
