• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From informal member A of the Natih Fm, which overlies the Nahr Umr Fm (Early to mid-Albian), and is overlain unconformably by the Fiqa Fm (Santonian). AGE: Early Turonian, on the basis of ammonite and microfossil biostratigraphy, and stratigraphic position. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From near top of formation.
