• "The limestone has yielded a rich fauna of foraminifera and ostracods including Discocyclina cf. D. sowerbyi, D. cf. D. javana, and Nummulites sp." According to Mukhopadhyay (2005), D. sowerbyi and D. javana belong to the Turborotalia cerroazulensis s. l. (sensu lato) Zone (=P17 Zone).

Environment/lithology: open shallow subtidal; lithified, yellow limestone
