Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; shale and sandstone

• 'subtidal environment, with low deposition rates and low hydrodynamic energy conditions.'
• 'composed primarily of shale, but with some minor interbedded layers of mudstone, sandstone, and calcarenite.'
