When: Euaspidoceras hypselum ammonoid zone, Impressamergel Formation, Late/Upper Oxfordian (161.2 - 155.7 Ma)

• Epipeltoceras semimammatum horizon, lower part of the Hypselum zone. The specimen was picked up from scree at the base of a small slope, which exclusively contained sediments of the semimammatum Horizon and where exclusively ammonites indicative of that horizon were found.

Environment/lithology: perireef or subreef; lithified, gray, green marl

• Much of the succession is developed in biohermal lithology
• Grey to greyish-green marls with some intercalating marly limestone layers
