• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Olenidsletta Mbr within the Valhallfonna Formation, which is overlain by the Profilbekken Mbr (same fm). AGE: Areginian; Didymograptus hirundo graptolite zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: 90-100 m above the base of the Olenidsletta Member. PJW: This member is not in the hirundo graptolite zone! There is not hirundo aged rock in this sequence.

•JA: reassigned to the Darriwilian on the assumption that the D. hirundo zone is the British Expansograptus hirundo zone

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, glauconitic, shelly/skeletal, brown, calcareous, cherty/siliceous limestone

• ENVIRONMENT: No environmental data or interpretation provided.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Brown calcilutite limestone containing scattered glauconitic grains and silicified fauna. LITHIFICATION: Assumed to be lithified given facies description, age and figured specimens.
