• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Meersen Chalk of the Maastricht Fm, and overlies the Nekum Chalk of the Maastricht Fm. AGE: early Late Maastrichtian, on the basis of ammonite and belemnite biostratigraphy; Belemnella junior-Belemnella casimirovensis zone. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Collection is a composite of the entire member.
