• "The Isrand Formation at Kilen appears to be a monotonic succession of laminated or massive-appearing black shale/mudstone with recurring concretionary intervals. Complete characterization of the range of facies and delineation of stratigraphic variability of the Isrand Fm require additional fieldwork." (Alsen et al. 2017)
