Environment/lithology: offshore ramp; lithified, shelly/skeletal wackestone and lithified shale

• Characteristic of oxygen-deficient, quiet-water environments and represents deeper-water facies than the Tithonian and Upper Valanginian parts which are shallow neritic; shallow back-arc basin.
• Organic-rich partly laminated microsparite limestones and shales.
