• Possibly located 100 m higher than the 500 marker level. Upper part of Salagou Formation (Merifrons Member) is primarily Kungurian age, according to Michel et al. (2015), constrained by Artinskian radiometric ages in the underlying Octon Mb.

Environment/lithology: pond; lithified, brown, red claystone and siltstone
