• Contains graptolites of Demirastrites convolutus Zone. Conochitina alargada chitinozoan zone. This would be the upper part of the Dobele given Loydell et al. (2003: Geological Magazine). PJW.

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, bioturbated, gray, calcareous mudstone

• "Occurs in dark-gray, sporadically bioturbated, calcareous mudstones, developed in a quiet water environment. This is the most offshore community in the East Baltic Llandovery, assigned here to benthic assemblage (BA) 5."
