• From the Calcari a Ellipsactinie of Altopiano Prat, a lateral variation of the Formazione di Fonzaso, The absence of exact biostratigraphic markers does not allow an accurate dating of Formazione di Fonzaso. However, the presence of Tubiphytes morronensis, Cladocoropsis mirabilis, and the occurrence of Saccocoma at the top of the unity, allowed to date the Formazione di Fonzaso to the Oxfordian-Kimmeridgian age (Upper Jurassic) (Candii et al, 2000)
