• Unnamed formation; various stratigraphic studies have stated it as Arenig through Late Llanvirn, but Benedetto and Sanchez (1996) consider it co-eval with the Peruvian Contaya Fm that is Late Llanvirn

Environment/lithology: foreshore; lithified, green, yellow sandstone

• yellow-green sandstone and yellow quartzite

Collection methods: JA: marked by Novack-Gottshall without explanation as omitting some genera, some macrofossils, some microfossils, and species names, but apparently complete
