When: Upper Malvacipollis diversus pollen zone, Macquarie Harbor Formation, Early/Lower Eocene (55.8 - 48.6 Ma)
• Both spore-pollen and marine dinoflagellate assemblages from these beds are correlative with the mid- Ypresian or Planktonic Foraminiferal Zone P7 (Carpenter et al., 2007 ) (early Eocene; 52 – 51 Ma).
