• The samples were taken from a submarine debris-flow deposit in which sediments from Kehlbach and Scheck members were entrained and mixed. Ammonites actually associated with our samples range in age from Late Sinemurian (raricostatum Zone) to Late Pliensbachian (margaritatus Zone).
