Environment/lithology: lacustrine - small; lithified, massive, green, argillaceous mudstone and lithified, concretionary, sandy sandstone

• Microflora correspond to sediments of the eastern most volcanic arc (of Paleocene to Eocene age) of northwestern extra-andean Patagonia.
• Los niveles portadores forman parte de una sucesión alternante de areniscas y fangolitas, con un espesor aflorante de 10-12 m. Las fangolitas son verdosas hasta marrones y algo expansibles, de aspecto macizo y estructura esferoidal. las areniscas muestran estratificación fina, ligeramente ondulante y ocurren en dos o tres paquetes con arreglo estrato-creciente.

•Fossils from Melendi et. al. 2003 come from 8 m of pelites outcrop alternated with tuffites, both interbedded with vulcanites. In this sector, three levels with well preserved palynomorphs were identified.
