• Rocks at the locality are exposed as talus rubble.

Environment/lithology: deep-water; lithified, fine-grained, cherty/siliceous mudstone and lithified lime mudstone

• The Alaska specimens were collected from interbedded fine-grained, siliceous cemented, clastic rocks and lime mudstones that form the uppermost beds within an unnamed argillite and chert unit.
