• The Barrio Allende section records 6.40 m of the Paso Hondo Formation, and is composed of 21 well-defined horizontal calcareous strata. Brachiopods occur in 1.7 m package of light gray limestone with intercalations of fine layers of orange or light brown calcarenite. Presence of Perrinites hilli indicates Kungurian age.
