Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, shelly/skeletal, gray limestone

• "Limestone, pale gray, top dense, lower part interbedded dense and rather coarsely crinoidal, basal part completely crinoidal. Brachiopods occur 1 foot above base. Resistant, wall-forming unit with very prominent bedding plane at top, and a sharp contact and textural cahnge at base."
