• Formation said to be "Frasnian s.l.". Top of formation contains nodular limestone with conodonts that indicate Frasnian-Famennian transition.

• Formation as a whole: "sandstone beds interbedded with siltstones and claystone levels...about 60 m thick" Fossils in question occur in "fine shales"
