• "The community is found in carbonates and in most instances forms banks..[also lenses]. These lenses were deposited in offshore sediments, but above storm wave base, in an outermost BA3 position. In other districts it may be found as massive banks showing a considerable degree of turbulence and sorting of shells, probably above normal wave base."
• "All [Ringerike localities] characterized by biosparitic beds, dominated by pedicle valves..."
