• "...Lower Devonian deposits of the Ainasu Stage composed of fine-grained sandstones and siltstones which give way (in ascending order) to calcareous sandstones and limestones. The sandstones and siltstones carry [graptolites]. The calcareous sandstones have yielded brachiopods ...and crinoidea."
