Where: Alberta, Canada (50.6° N, 114.8° W: paleocoordinates 0.8° N, 41.6° W)

• coordinate estimated from map

• small collection-level geographic resolution

When: 3 Member (Livingstone Formation), Osagean (352.0 - 343.0 Ma)

• Unit 25 of King Creek Canyon Section (counting from the top). This unit is 245 feet thick.

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lithified, shelly/skeletal, gray, argillaceous limestone

• "Limestone, light gray, very massive, no real bedding, but zones of cross-lamination with long but gently inclined forsets brought out by weathering; rock weathers dull light gray, locally witha buffy cast; some parts have coarse bioclastic to encrinal material in dense gound mass, other parts uniformly coarse encrinal; many zones are coarsely vesicular and bryozoal, to highly porous, to very dense and vitreous. A slightly argillaceous and silty zone about 15 feet thick, 120 feet belo top. Basal contact arbitrarily drawn."
