• Formal lithostratigraphic assignment of these beds remains unclear. The age of the conglomeratic strata is restricted by the age of the underlying Santa Cruz Formation, which in the study area was dated as early Miocene (18.1 ± 0.4 Ma) by Fosdick et al., 2011 (Pujana et al., 2015).
