• Hesperornis was recovered about 155m above the base of the Kanguk, and approx. 30m below the contact with the Eureka Sound Group. In Sverdrup Basin

Environment/lithology: marine; tuffaceous shale and tuffaceous sandstone

• shales and sandstones with bentonite beds throughout.
