When: Permian (298.9 - 251.9 Ma)
Environment/lithology: mire or swamp; coal and shale
• Plants from the Owossa Coal Co. site were found in a shaly nodule. Those from the New Corunna Brick Co. site were found a sandstone lentil from one of the beds in the quarry.
