• According to the text: The Bahía lnglesa locality has been dated on the basis of diatoms at between 4.5 and 2.6 MYBP (Tsuchi et al. 1988). However, most recent studies (Godoy, E.; Marquardt, C.; Blanco, N., 2003. Carta Caldera, Región de Atacama. Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería, Santiago, Chile, Carta Geológica de Chile, Serie Geología Básica, 76) place Bahia Inglesa between the middle Miocene and the early Pliocene
