• Site reported by Soproni of the Szentendre Museum and excavated by Janossy in 1952. 'No attempts were made to collect microfauna remains at Budakalasz, and the site was subsequently demolished by quarrying.'

• Only the second finding of Hippoptamus in the Carpathian basin (the other was at Uromhegy). Both sites are thought to be of the same age.
