• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Shuomo Fm, which underlies the Berriasian Guchuochun Fm. THICKNESS: From bed within 562 m thick exposure of Shuomo Fm. AGE: Tithonian. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: From middle part of Shuomo Fm, several hundred m below PBDB# 64867 and immediately above PBDB# 64877.

Environment/lithology: deep-water; poorly lithified siltstone

• ENVIRONMENT: Offshore, deeper water, possibly continental slope.
• SPECIFIC LITHOLOGY: Siltstone. LITHIFICATION: Poorly lithified based on figured specimens.
