Environment/lithology: marine; shelly/skeletal, sandy siltstone and shelly/skeletal, argillaceous limestone

• "Shells mostly articulated. BA 2 or 3 suggested. In some occurrences the shells have been current sorted, although most occurrences suggest a quiet water, level bottom environment."
• "Forms massive coquinas interbedded with sandy siltstones (aleurolites) and nodular, argillaceous limestones of the Havalbet Beds, of the Merishkor Regional Stage."

Collection methods: Stromatoporoids and corals are in the limestone localities.
