Environment/lithology: fissure fillbioturbated, fine-grained, gray, blue

• 'infillings in the karstic fissures formed in the Liasic limestones in the last spurs of Sierra Harana (External zone of the Cordillera Betica).'
• 'It is formed by 2.20m for basically fine grained laminated clayish material.' These contain manganese and iron oxides which produce blue and grey tones and infill small bioturbation traces (roots or animals). 'The deposit shows a banding where there is an alternation between clay layers with very few remains and layers very rich in fossil remains.'
