• The Shinkhuduk Suite in Alag Tsav area consists of shale, paper shale, calcareous shale (marl), and fine-and coarse-grained sandstone. Mudstone (shale) is the dominant lithology among them. There is a series of outcrops of the Shinkhuduk Suite (paper shale, mudstone, sandstone) in the area 4-5km NE of the base camp (Fig. 6; Plate 2).
