When: Holmia kjerulfi trilobite zone, Tømten Member (Ringstrand Formation), Botomian (516.0 - 512.9 Ma)

• The author refers to these shales as the Holmia shales, becuase of the presence of the genus Holmia. These beds are said by the author to be Lower Cambrian. AGE: Atdabanian; refined by A. Hendy (6/2009) on the basis of biostratigraphic data. PJW: Was Sparagmite, but this is almost certainly the Tømten member of the Ringstrand formation.
