When: Gesher Formation, Tortonian (11.6 - 7.2 Ma)

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: lacustrine; limestone

• interpreted as brackish
• brown highly indurated ooidic limestone, with ooids of fine sand to silt size, and sparse-loosely packed shells

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: mold/impression
