• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From Sobral Formation, which unconformably overlues the Lopez de Bertodana Fm (Late Maastrichtian-Danian) and is overlain by the La Meseta Fm. THICKNESS: Section reachs 1600 m in thickness, presumably collection is from a horizon of bed-scale thickness. AGE: Early Danian. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: 1103.80 m

• ENVIRONMENT: Sandy, shallow-middle shelf, temperate coastal waters, normal salinity.
