• The Ameki Formation consists of five lithofacies: (A) clay-shale and limstone facies, (B) silty sandstone facies, (C) bioturbated sandstone facies, (D) mudrock facies, and (E) shelly shale facies. This collection includes fossils from samples N17 and N18 of lithofacies D.

• Paleoenvironmental interpretations listed include a mud and silt substrate in warm shallow normal marine to brackish waters that are well oxygenated and locally anoxic.
