• Upper Muschelkalk facies (M3), equivalent to La Riba Reef Formation. Multiple bedding surfaces in the quarry.

Environment/lithology: shallow subtidal; lime mudstone and marl

• 16-20 m of micritic, finely laminated, almost lithographic, limestones with more marly intercalations. Trace fossil Fucoides covers one layer. Sedimentary structures are limited to some megaripples and some scour troughs associated with bioclastic influx.
