• STRATIGRAPHIC RELATIONS: From the Pisco Fm, which regionally, unconformably overlies the Chilcatay Fm (late Oligocene-early Middle Miocene). AGE: Late Miocene in text, on the basis of molluscan biostratigraphy. STRATIGRAPHIC POSITION: Unknown position within formation.

• ENVIRONMENT: Not discussed in text, but appears to be from very shallow marine siliciclastic setting.
