• Basal facies, middle lower Valanginian. "Co-occurrence of Vergoliceras and Kilianella leaves no doubt about the middle early Valanginian age of the assemblage (Neocomites neocomiensiformis Zone, see Company and Tavera, 2015 with references)."

• Pelagic limestones. Underlying basalts inferred to have formed at water depths of 1000-1500 m.
