When: Los Sombreros Formation, St Davids (509.0 - 497.0 Ma)

• Allochthonous boulder within Ordovician sediments, yielded only conodonts of Cordylodus proavus BIozone

Environment/lithology: slope; shelly/skeletal wackestone and silty shale

• Huge olistolith consisting of wackestones with trilobites, thin-bedded dark mudstones ans silty shales. Also containing hexactine and stauractine spicules.

Collection methods: All figured brachiopods are deposited in the collections of Catedra de Estratigrafia y Geologia Historica, Universidad Nacional de Cordoba/Argentina (CEHG-UNC 15975-16045).
