When: Monograptus riccartonensis graptolite zone, Cape Phillips Formation, Sheinwoodian (433.4 - 430.5 Ma)

• Sometimes given as BHL; perneri-opimus zone

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: slope; calcareous carbonate and shale

• "A series of carbonate debris flows [into basinal shales] derived from the platform margin is preserved in this area. It is from these gravity flow deposits that silicified fossils have been recovered."

Size classes: macrofossils, mesofossils

Preservation: replaced with silica
