Environment/lithology: marine; carbonate and shelly/skeletal, calcareous mudstone

• "...high number of taxa and abundance of corals indicate stable, optimal environment...strong niche differentiation...[Some elements] adapted to soft bottom...subtidal, low energy, soft bottom (outermost BA 2-3 in well-circulated waters."

• "community developed in carbonates...facies M and N (Stolum, 1983)...fine-grained, unsorted mudstones...crinoid ossicles contribute to sand fraction..."
