When: Dolayoba Limestone Formation (Pelitli Group), Gorstian (427.4 - 425.6 Ma)

• PJW: Originally give as Dolayba Limestone. Sometimes considered a member of the Pelitli formation, but that also is considered to be a group. = Halysites Limestone of Paeckelmann (1938). Was Wenlock, but now considered early Ludlow

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: reef, buildup or bioherm; lithified limestone

• patch reef complex; from Özgül (2012: Turkish Journal of Earth Sciences 21:817–866): light to dark pinkish, light grey, brown, lensoidal reefal limestone with rare intercalation of brown siltstone and shale (1 10 cm); corals, crinoids, stromatoporoid as macrofossils, in its uppermost levels includes a few metres thick boudinaged limestone
