• The upper part of the Centinela Formation comprises medium- to fine-grained sandstones, siltstones, and strata with oysters frequently preserved in life position. Beds are present with sigmoidal and bidirectional plane cross-stratification. Collection from approximately 150-280 m in the stratigraphic column of Casadio et al. (2000).
