Environment/lithology: marine; gray, green claystone and calcareous siltstone
• "The section ... represents a somewhat shallower zone [than Ciepielow and Barstow sections] in the marine basin at the Silurian-Devonian boundary...Only part of the Upper Podlasian was penetrated, and consists of grey greenish claystones with a silky lustre. Poorly preserved fossils occur in fine calcareous siltstone intercalations."
